Discover your strengths, conquer procrastination, & feel more in control of your life.

It’s time to get the specialized support you need to reach your fullest potential.

It’s not a lack of care that’s keeping you from being the version of yourself you want to be. In fact, you care deeply about being a good student, employee, friend, and partner. You want to be on time for things, meet deadlines, keep track of your keys, and be able to get tasks done without getting overwhelmed. But none of the things you’ve tried to get organized have really made a difference, and you’ve been pretty hard on yourself about it.

Maybe you’ve been…

  • You often feel overwhelmed, to the point where starting a task seems impossible. You find yourself avoiding texts, calls, and emails, letting bills and laundry pile up, and even forgetting about these things entirely. And when faced with tasks you don’t want to do, you can’t help but procrastinate by doing literally anything else—including whatever else you’ve been procrastinating.

  • When you’re really into something, it’s easy to lose track of time, and everything else just fades away. But when it comes to tasks or topics that don’t interest you, it’s like your mind drifts off and is unavailable.

  • Sometimes, you finish reading something and realize you don’t remember a single word of it. When a topic doesn’t grab your attention, keeping your focus and holding onto the information can feel like an uphill battle. Not only is this frustrating, it’s embarrassing.

  • In conversations, it’s hard to hold back from interrupting because if you don’t speak up, you’ll forget what you want to say. You want to make and keep friends, but often feel awkward or misunderstood by others.

  • You may have noticed your child seeming restless, unable to sit still at the dinner table, or leaving a mess behind them wherever they go in the house. Teachers often say they’re likable and do well in class, but at home they break down over homework and projects, leaving you wondering what’s really going on. My Approach

Let’s find real-life strategies that will actually work for you.

It’s important to me that we begin this work with a deep understanding of your background and what you’re experiencing. If it turns out that ADHD is part of your story, we’ll talk about what that means—not just the challenges it brings, but also the unique strengths, like hyperfocus, that can feel like superpowers. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that fits your goals and needs, using the most effective treatment methods out there.

As we dive into understanding your ADHD,

You’ll start to realize why you do certain things, and those “Aha!” moments can help you begin to make sense of the parts of you you’ve never understood. People with ADHD often develop little tricks to manage it without even realizing. These strategies are clues to how your brain works, and we’ll explore ways to harness them so you can navigate life with less frustration and more ease.

If you’re curious about medication, I can connect you with excellent psychiatrists who can help you explore those options. I’m here to listen to any concerns you have, and will closely monitor how they affect you if you decide to move forward with treating your ADHD in this way.

ADHD brains are unique, often working like a computer with 17 tabs open at once, all buzzing with thoughts and ideas. It’s qualities like this that make ADHD brains so dynamic, and understanding how yours works can open up new ways to thrive in your everyday life.

Specialized therapy for ADHD can make life feel more manageable.

“I procrastinate everything until the last minute and then hate myself for it.”

“I have a plan in place that helps me stay on track when something needs to be done.”

“I can communicate my limits without feeling ashamed.”

“My thoughts are so loud and constant that I can never focus.”

“I have tools to quiet my mind and keep track of important thoughts.”

“I feel so bad about myself for not being able to keep things together like other people can.”

“This is not my fault, and I’m doing the best I can.”

You are smart & capable. Let’s tap into your talents so you can thrive.

FAQs

  • ADHD is diagnosed through a combination of extensive history-taking, observation, interviews, and sometimes questionnaires, looking at how a person thinks, feels, and acts in different situations. If I determine that you have an ADHD diagnosis I will educate you (if diagnosing a teenager, I’ll educate them and their parents) on ADHD so that you fully understand it. We’ll discuss treatment options and develop goals and a treatment plan together.

  • ADHD stands for Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It’s a condition that affects a person’s ability to focus, control impulses, and sometimes, stay still. If this sounds similar to your experience, therapy can help.

  • ADHD affects the brain by making it harder for someone to focus, manage time, and control impulses. It’s like the brain’s “filter” for distractions isn’t working as smoothly, which can lead to challenges in daily life. Through creating personalized strategies and systems in therapy, people with ADHD can learn to manage challenging symptoms and leverage the things that make them special.
